Pre-exposure Prophylaxis for HIV Prevention: Truvada, a Pill for HIV Prevention

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved and licensed a drug to prevent HIV acquisition in 2012. This is the first ever FDA drug approval for HIV prevention.
